Following the collapse of the First Guardian/ Shield schemes, Hostplus is urging members to familiarise themselves with the red flags to look out for when making decisions about your super. These include cold calling, pressure tactics, and exaggerated promises about high returns.

Reminder: EOFY Claiming a tax deduction on a prior year
If you want to claim a tax deduction for a personal contribution submitted last financial year, your submission of a Notice Of Intent to Claim a Tax deduction must be received by Hostplus no later than 30 June this financial year.
Applications can be submitted online via Member Online for immediate receipt. If you are posting in a form please allow additional time for postage as Hostplus cannot accept submissions received outside of the prescribed timeframes.

360HEALTH
SUPER TOOLKIT
This Super Toolkit provides educational resources to help your employees who are Hostplus members make the most out of 360Health.
360Health is a virtual health and wellbeing service offered to all Hostplus members and their families1 at no extra cost.
This service offers a personalised approach to employee wellbeing. Members can get access to nutrition and fitness services, have general questions answered by GPs and nurses specialising in mental health2, or explore early intervention strategies to support their health or recovery journey.
360Health is provided in partnership with our insurer MetLife and delivered via Teladoc Health.

2. Mental Health Assist is only available in respect of persons 18 years old or above.
You, as the employer, acknowledge to not utilise any Hostplus material to:
a) give financial product advice or mislead employees about superannuation products;
b) mandate, recommend or influence your employees to choose a particular superannuation fund; and
c) make an unsolicited offer to employees, or ask them to apply for a superannuation product during real-time contact (such as a meeting).
Life insurance products are issued by MetLife Insurance Limited (ABN 75 004 274 882, AFSL 238096) (MetLife). 360Health services are provided in conjunction with Teladoc Health Australasia Pty Ltd (ACN 147 387 666) (Teladoc Health), a separate entity. 360Health services are not provided by way of insurance (including health insurance) and the provision of these services is not dependent on the occurrence of an insured event. MetLife will not be responsible for the nature or quality of services provided by Teladoc Health.
All services except for Recovery Support are provided by Teladoc Health. Access to 360Health services will be at MetLife’s reasonable discretion and is eligible for all MetLife customers, partnered super fund members and their children, partner, parents and parents-in-law. MetLife reserves the right to discontinue or change the services at any time.
